I am a scientist and academic with expertise in bioengineering, biotechnology, biophysics, biomedical engineering,
biomaterial science, and mechanobiology.
My research activities revolve around cytoskeletal and neuronal proteins, self-organization of motor proteins, mechano-responsiveness, and mechano-transduction mechanism of cytoskeletal, neuronal proteins, and their associated cellular enzymes. Currently, I am dedicated to obtaining a meticulous understanding of the instability, endurance, and disfunction of cytoskeletal and neuronal proteins under mechanical stress with a view to unraveling its correlation with neurological diseases, such as Traumatic brain injury (TBI), Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease, etc. Another important facet of my research activities is directed to fabricating molecular robots and micro/nanodevices by using protein engineering and DNA nanotechnology, for nanotechnological, and biomedical applications, as well as therapeutics.
